Indianapolis Postsecondary Action Community
EmployIndy, through its initiative Indy Achieves, is seeking to increase postsecondary attainment in Marion County and meet labor market demand. To do so, a committee was created that brings school counselors and other administrators together to brainstorm best practices to promote postsecondary education and career development. After a year of discussion, IPAC has decided to invite community-based organizations to this community. Students spend a lot of time with community-based organizations. It is important to create a space where those who are serving students across Indianapolis come together and discuss best practices and develop innovative approaches that better support Marion County’s young adults.
Indy Achieves has collaborated with middle/high school counselors and administrators across Marion County to learn and provide support as they advise students in reaching Postsecondary success. Together, we will share best practices and develop innovative approaches that better support Marion County’s young adults.

The competitive application process offers selected participants a stipend to compensate for their time at the conclusion of the last planning meeting.
